REKREYASYON

A joyful eco-creative experience where children transform recyclable materials into art, imagination and environmental action.

REKREYASYON, meaning recreation or playtime in Haitian Creole, is an inclusive creative event inspired by the ARISE programme. It offers 12 hours of environmental learning, artistic creation and entertainment through safe, age-appropriate sessions.

Unlike ARISE, which is primarily delivered through schools, REKREYASYON welcomes children from across the community, whether or not they are enrolled in a participating school. Guided by artists and facilitators, children use clean, reusable materials to create original artworks while discovering simple ways to reduce waste and care for their environment.
